GACCQ (German Australian Community Centre Queensland) gives you the unique and fascinating opportunity to not only learn from passionate experts of the National Archives of Australia about the when, why and how the first German settlers set foot in Queensland, but also how YOU can to dig into their massive free archives about your own family history or anything you might be interested in!
How did it all start in Queensland? 186 years ago when the first free settlers – German Missionaries – arrived in Queensland, in Nundah, formerly known as “German Station” ... and teh rest is history.
